When Adrienne is not seeing patients, she loves spending time in nature - hiking, camping, paddling, snowboarding, and climbing.
Adrienne respectfully acknowledges that across Turtle Island, she practices on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people, known as Mi’kma’ki; and on Moh’kinstsis — the traditional lands within Treaty 7 territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations, as well as the Stoney Nakoda Nations: Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney, and the Tsuut’ina Nation. This land is home to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta, specifically Districts 5 and 6. Adrienne honours the past, present, and future caretakers of these lands. We are all Treaty people.
She acknowledges the histories, contributions, and legacies of the African Nova Scotians and communities who have been here for over 400 years.
